ok i was crusin the vette this last weekend when we all parked and was talking and this 03 stock mustang gt at comes up and everyone is trying to get us to race. i have a 95 vette six speed with flowmasters and other than that its stock. i was wondering who would win? i didnt try because i didnt want to get beat in front of everyone. im pretty sure i have more horse than he does

You should get him good if its a standard GT.

GT comes with a 4.6-liter V8 with single overhead cams and two-valve heads rated at 260 hp at 5250 rpm and 302 lbs.-ft. of torque at 4000 rpm.
from R&T. However, if its a Mach 1 GT you had better have some mods..............
This Mach 1's acceleration off the line is tricky, but resulted in a big-block-humbling 13.88 at 101.91. We recently tested a Mach 1 five-speed and ran a 13.2 at 106.7
That puts it right at your 13.8 times. So pick yer battles, I ran against one at my first trip to the dragstrip with my LT-1 Auto. I ran 13.9, he ran 13.5 but had a few mods including K&N, mufflers & chip.............. We'll see when things are equal...like tommorrow night :D .

In a street race, throw everything out of the window because anything can happen.

My advice is to start modding like crazy. I mod my guns and guitars. Only reason why I haven't modded my car much beyond the slim basics is because it's too expensive. But I've got my guitar and gun purchases out of the way so this winter is dedicated to the Vette'. :D

Its always nice to have a 100 shot piped in very inconspicuously just for such an occassion.

;)

i was told 100 shot on a stock motor could be kinda hard on it. i figured i could take the gt but i wasnt sure how much it was packin under the hood
