2003 power seat...

does anyone have any suggestions for a drivers side power seat that only works forward and back? None of my tilt/lumbar functions work....had it back to the dealer they are stumped...I have power to the seat just some of the functions do not work including the lumbar "pillow" in the seat.....switches all seem to be getting power......HELP!! ....and thanks in advance!

OK, do you have Memory or not? That is important to know.

When did this start or did you buy the car this way?

Have you ever had rain or water get into the seat switches area?

The motors for Lumbar are different from the tilt ones and on entirely different circuits so you have two separate issues.

Do you hear the Lumbar motor/pump run? If it runs then the hoses or bladders are the likely issue.

Do you have any basic electrical skills like being able to use a voltmeter or jumpering 12 volt power and ground to a motor?


If the dealer could not figure this out I would not take the car back there for any other work.
