2003 vs. 2004 z06

Hey guys,

I am new to this forum and new to the corvette world for that matter. I have recently fell in love with the c5's and I'm looking to purchase one. Now my question is, is there any significant difference between the 2003 and 2004 z06's?

From what I've read, there doesn't seem to be any at all, except for the side moldings were optional in 2003, but I thought I would ask the experts.

Any advice you guys think will help me in the search for this machine is greatly appreciated.

I believe that there was a significant improvement in the shock absorbers for 2004. I am not certain; someone else will be along with a better answer.

I have read from 04 owners that there is a slightly more aggressive tune for that model year but don't quote me on it.
