2003 Z06 Brakes

Is there anything difficult about changing the brake pads on 03 Z06? I'm going to change to ceramic to eliminate the excessive brake dust. I have done a lot of work on C3's but no work so far on my 03. Any tips would be appreciated.

Took me longer to jack her up and take the wheels off than to change the pads, front and rear. A piece of cake, very easy, are you using GM ceramics? The only thing i did once i changed all the pads, with car off. Gently apply pressure to the brake pedal several times till you feel the pedal firm up. Takes a few days of driving till the pads seat in and the pedal firmed completely for me. Changed mine with only 200 miles on my 04 Z, hated the wheel dust. The only thing you might have to do is soak the caliper bolts with some penetrating fluid if they are stubborn. Mine loosened right up because they were new, good luck.

Thanks for letting me know how simple this may be. I will be changing the brake fluid at the same time so that will be the biggest challenge. My son found a couple of interesting sites on C5 DIY items. Thought I would share.
