Hello all. I have just purchased a GM Delco (Pioneer) install kit. I know my car does not have the wiring installed. I have that as part of the kit. Does anyone know the process for removing the inside trim. Also, does the harness plug into the back of the radio or the foot block. Any diagrams, websites, or info would be extremly helpful. I'm pretty handy, so I'm not adverse to istalling it.
Regards and thanks in advance.

the harness plugs in at the passenger side foot block, the trim can be removed easily

Thanks Marty. I'll look for the plug. Does the trim just pull up. I have seen no screw fastners.
Regards,
Ed

there are no fasteners, just pul out the trim and snake the wire

Marty,

Do you know which connector in the foot pad area is the one I connect the harness to? There are what appears to be 2 harnesses that are not used, but I can't be sure. Thanks for your replies.
Ed

There are two connectors that it the harness plugs into on the passenger side.
You may want to get your money back on the cd changer, I hooked up a Kenwood cdd changer and the Kenwood music keg (holds 2500 mp3's) after $$ invested I would go for the I POD aand scrape the cd changer. you can get an ipod adapter from pac audio.
