2004 Pace Car

Not sure if this has been posted already, but I've noticed that the 2004 Corvette Convertible will pace the Indy 500 again this year.

I can't believe they aren't using a C6.....Who ever heard of a Pace Car being used that is almost out of production? Hey: It is a Corvette, so I can't complain.

The Corvette was the Pace Car in 1995. Only 1 year before the end of the C4.

I wish I could see the other side. From the driver's side, it looks cool. From the back....ummmmm...not so good. At least it doesn't have yellow rims.

Now I have to say, this is one of the most tasteful Corvette Indy Pace Cars, GM has ever done. Excellent choice of colors and graphics!!!
