2006 C6 Z06

Robin and I took our first road trip in the 'Z'. What an awesome vehicle!! We put 1000 miles on it last weekend. Very comfortable. This is our first Corvette and we are loving it.

However, the reason for this post is that on the day that we started our return leg the pilot's side (that be on the left) environmental (heater/ac) control failed. Blowing cold air on the driver's side the whole trip back. Car is at the dealership with the console out of it. I am told that it has only been reported on one other C6 and that engineering is working on it. It may be the computer that is in the heater/ac power head. Five to ten days for repair.

Just thought someone should know.

Thanks. It is a 1967 RS. Kinda my first love. It gets a lot of smiles and waves too.

I am not sure what to say about the Z06 heater control problem. Sounds like it might be the computer in the control head.
