1st time to the track and ran a 12.85 @ 112 mph. This was improved from my first run of 13.0 on a slick track with launch control. Hooked up much better 2nd time slipping the clutch a little. It was a good time, the car looked and ran great. Looking forward to next time. Only GS out of about a dozen vettes.

Also, got to run against my buddy's 2011 Camaro SS. (for those that ever wondered here's the proof)

My first time out last fall, I ran a 12:54@117!! I was pretty happy with that. Six speed automatic in mine. Launched at 1500rpm in sport mode, let the computer do the shifting... Listened to some Zepplin the whole time...

My stock GY tires would have never provided the traction. Tread was gone after 15k miles on all 4 tires. I have installed Nitto Invo's (non-run flat). I'm very happy with them after about 2000 miles. I posted some pics on another post if interested.

Thanks, i figured that was the case. i'm currently shopping around for new rims, will probably buy new tires as well.
