The accepted wisdom is that 20 L-88s were sold in 1967.

Read the sign on the floor in front of Roger Judski's white L-88.

Roger also owns the red 12-mile 1967 L-88 that sold for $615,000 last summer.

So are you asking if Roger knows something the rest of us don't? Likely! :D

For some reason, I was sure that all 56 of the 20 L-88s were fully documented with immaculate providence. :(

I am wondering is there a list list of the ROCK SOLID PROVEN L88 so far. How many are historicly know?
Being as the L88 equipped cars are so highly prized, I would expect there are several lists out there but as for rock solid proven beyond a doubt L88s, who knows? Perhaps NCRS has a registry? That's where I'd look first.

Say, 67Heaven... any idea if any of the 1967 L88s were delivered to Canada?

What can I say but David (Who did the sign) blew it ...

Is this the case? Is there still an actual count of twenty L-88 equipped Corvettes in 1967, or is it now twenty-one? :confused

Sorry, when David did the placard for the car he WRONGLY put down 21.

Until the 67 shipping records are released no one knows for sure. Hopefully these records will contain enough information to finally answer the question and we will see just how many of those BB cars out there started out as SBs.

I believe that the NCRS has actually Flighted 34 '67's and I believe all the experts agree with the 20 originally made.

Kinda ot but reading the story on the ZL1 on rogers website speaks of Wayne Walker owning it for a while and then of course going up for government auction.....Im lost, what happened to Wayne Walker and Zip Products.

Im confused,this from Rogers website
Since Wayne Walker owned the car, it eventually ended up in the hands of the US Marshall's Office, from which current owner Roger Judski (owner of Roger's Corvette Center in Orlando, Florida) purchased it for the princely sum of $300,000.
;shrug

The purchaser of the car from Walker was busted for running coke. All his toys were seized and sold at auction.
