Sorry to bug you guys again, but I'm kinda worried. Most guys I've talked to say that my stock Dana 36 won't last very long with the 3.75 gears. I'm cool with that, but what should I put in there? I don't want to put a lot more $ into this car, but I want it to last for a while and stay in the 10s. Any help?

How modified is modified?

I was reading that when you go over 3:50 you are dedicating your vette to a specific purpose only, not that you cannot really use it as a daily driver.

Wait a while for some more feedback!

Are you talking 10's in the quarter mile? If so, you are putting down too much power for the Dana 36 anyway; with 3.75's or otherwise.

The Dana 36 is weaker than the D44 unit. Grab a whole assembly from a manual tranny car as all manual tranny cars got D44's. It will install with no problems and you can go to even lower ratios if you want.
