3rd place 76

Seems all I can get is 3rd place at the car shows. Sure would like to use one of these as my avatar, but can't seem to keep it decent size to look at but small enough bytes for CAC to accept. Any body willing to help me out here?

Looks great to me! As long as you enjoy it don't worry what place they give you. How about a pic of the engine compartment?

If I were you I would find out how the judgeing is done, some shows are peoples choice, some are just how clean (and I mean get the q-tips out clean:L ) while others are the "good ole boy" type.

I'm sure others more into the show end will chime in.

Have you considered replacing the ignition shielding? (They still had shielding in 76, didn't they?) It really cleans up the back of the engine and looks super sharp!!

Mac, that might be a good idea, but not sure if it will fit now because of the ACCEL Super Coil cover on the distributor. Maybe somebody knows how it mounts up and such. I have no idea.

I know how you feel. For some reason, everybody likes the blue ones. Side by side with a red Vettte, the blue one always wins. The only show I ever won was when I was the only one in the class.:L
