Acouple of years ago i asked the same question. I was givin some leads but as i checked around ,It was going to be much more expensive to do the ZF and with mostly used parts. The Richmond ROD 6 speed is the way to go. I ordered mine a week ago and should recieve it in another week or two. It was $3300 with everthing I need to go. It comes totally complete. "Ken" will probably comment also, he did the conversion to his 87.
