427-400 Problem Solved

First I would like to Thank everyone for there input, it was great to have so many nice people helping me to correct the problem Great Site, I started replacing spark plugs last night, when I pulled the plug wire from the last one on passenger side by fire wall, half of the plug remained in the wire and other portion in the head, no idea what caused this, but after all plugs installed I started up the big block and wow what a difference never sounded so great and no hestiation or miss firing, now what caused the plug to break in half?
