Question: 54 engine stamp

I am restoring a 54. It has a correct 911 block but the stamp on the I.D. pad is F54X. Does this mean anything to anybody. Everything else seems to be correct.
 
The engines was assembled in the Flint engine plant in 1954 and started life in a 3100 series pick up truck. '54 Corvette engines had a YG code.

Mikey - My understanding is 54 Corvette engines were marked F54YG ????
