I'm considering selling my 58 vette. It's a rolling chassis that consists of a body, frame, and windshield with a Bill of Sale.

Will putting it on eBay be my best choice to get the best price? Not that I'm going to try to rob someone....just want to get a fair price.

58 Vette

Dex,

For my money (ha ha) I like the "Corvette Trader" website. I'm currently looking at a '72 there. I think that the people who use this site are knowledgeable buyers and are prepared to pay a fair price. E-bay strikes me as people who are looking to "get somethiing for nothing" if they can get away with it. It may take a little longer on "Trader" or one of the other sites that cater to serious Corvette buyers, but I thiink you'll be better off in the long run.

That's my two cents

Thanks guys for the info. I'm in no hurry to sell it.

I have a 65 vette that I bought from a friend's dad and I don't really have the time to do both. If I sell the 58 then good. If not then I'll take the next 10 years or so to do it.

Again, thanks for your input!!!

I absolutely agree with the above posts that Ebay is your usually your bottom end price unless you run into an unusual bidding frenzy where the price can go out of site, seen it happen more than once. You can't beat the exposure of Ebay so like the other poster said put it up at your high asking as a minimum and get your email and phone number in there too and sit back and see what happens.
