6-Disc Changer - Random Play

I've only had my C6 for two weeks. Still trying to figure out the 6-disc changer. When I push the RDM button to get "Random All Discs" I expect the next song to play from one of the other 5 discs. However, it just plays another song on the current disc and I can't seem to get it to swap unless I manually choose another disc. What am I missing?

Are you really sure you would want such a feature? The wear and tear on the mechanism that swaps the discs out of the playing area would be terrific and no doubt would lead to early problems with the mechanism.

Your not missing anything, it should work, as described in the owners manual.
As long as you hold the button, and then you see'random all discs'.
You might want to have your dealership look at it.

Rode with another friend who has a C-6 with the XM radio and 6-disc CD Changer combination. His CD changer does the same thing mine does. Maybe the owner's manual is incorrect? Do other C-6 owners have the same issue?
