6-Speed Tranny Fluid Change

Can someone help me out with the proper procedure for changing the fluid in my 99 6-speed? I've seen a million recommendations for fluid but nothing on the procedure. I haven't purchased my manuals yet.

Just drain it out the bottom and then refill.
Kinda messy holds around several qts.
Did it twice on my 98 Pace Car. (80,000 miles)

It's a whole lot easier using a hand operated fluid pump to refill the tranny. You can pick one up at any auto parts store. I think you need a 26mm allen wrench to remove the plugs.
