I have a customer who wants some reproduction classic torque thrust on his mint stock 62. Does anyone have any photos or suggestions on a 15x8 classic torque thrust on all 4 corners of a 62? 245/60 15s are what I am guessing on that wheel. I know 15x7 225/70 15's will not be a problem, but he wants the most wheel/tire with the least headaches on all 4 corners. Bigger wheels on the rear and 17's etc are out of the question on this car.

Thanks!

15X8 will probably rub with any size tire.

15x8's were too big for my 65...i tried a set and they were going to rub so i bought 15x7's and they're just fine....i'm selling the 15x8's if anyone is interested

Way back we run 15x8 ralleys on a '61 for autocrossing. I can't remember the size tire but they rubbed on the inside on hard cornering. Made a heck of a racket. We didn't mind at the time. They were fine all the rest of the time. We never had a fender contact problem. I think 8s look too wide on the front though. I'll look for those pictures.
