63 Drag Racer From Way Back

I have pictures of this car that I took at the Indy Nationals in '64 that I have been looking for for years. Luckily I came across this one on the HAMB. It's a 63 convert with a way set back engine and driving position and a straight front axle. It ran as an altered if I remember correctly. It was and I think still is owned by Ron Hadley. I used to see it setting inside at Dave Furthmiller's Speed Shop in Ft. Wayne. circa '63/'64.

Yes it is and especially so when you think about this being a new car at the time. I saw it run at Indy in '64 and probably '65,'66,'67. I don't know how many years he raced the car. I don't recall seeing it after '71 when I got out of the army.
