Need new drums/pads/lines/hardware. Want to stay stock. Where is the best place to buy them?

Thanks,
Vaughn

Just finished rebuilding brakes on my '64. Didn't need drums, ordered wheel cylinders, rubber lines, linnings and hardware from Corvette Central. Quality seemed ok and I didn't have any problems with anything. Shop around, somewhere else may be less expensive. Good luck!!

Start with Doc Rebuild, then check Long Island Corvette, Paragon, Rik's Corvette in that order - I would check Corvette Central, Zips, Corvette America in that order after the originals - really depends on "how authentic" you want to stay

I actually want to stay as original or original 'looking' as possible. Do you know if any of those vendors sell such parts in a pre-packaged 'kit' to totally replace/restore everything?

I suggest you look at Vette Brake and Product (VBP) www.vbandp.com and Vansteel www.vansteel.com as you are looking for sources.

I bought a complete set from VBP for my 65 because they had the best price (by far) on the new Delco caliper castings I wanted. I realize this is not an issue with you. They do have a brake kit for the 63 that seems to include everything except the drums. The new master cylinder I bought from them has the correct cap, which surprised me.

My 2 cents.

Dave
