Work just gets in the way, but it seems its the only way we can afford doing what we do... I finally was able to get out to the shop and we tore out the rear end. We opened it up and found everything was actually in good shape, and the gearing is a 3:73 Rear, Posi. A few things had to be tighted up, otherwise we cleaned it up, reassembled (CAREFULLY) and are finished. However for every little victory we have a few defeats. The traiction bars are good structurely, but everything else needed to be rebuilt and relubed. had some cracking in the seals etc. Secondly the trailing arm is all CHROME, yese it was chromed, so these are being replaced. Every nut and bolt was removed and checked against the NCRS Judging Manual....some have to be replaced, some are good. Overall we are going along and things are looking good. Next week we will start with the engine, but wanted to get most of the front suspension done. On the Front Suspension the car had standard springs (replacement), we are putting back in the correct springs. The Control Arms are in good shape, taking them out to be painted the correct black color.

I decided NOT to remove all the black paint on the floor pans, its just to much work and quite expensive to do, so I am just leaving it alone. During the winter if I get bored enough I will start, but for now, I will leave it alone.

Sorry no photos as of yet, I just forgot, and was in a rush, as my time is very limited, I have another two week trip coming up. We are moving along, and hope to have most of the suspension back in the car next week, completed by week of the 20th June.

Patience is a virtue.....keep you posted....
