Well here are the photos of the suspension, still a work in progress but should finish up tomorrow (Tuesday). The front suspension was a real mess and we still are working on the steering linkage. But now...it looks like something. The rear suspension was taken totally apart and everything was redone...now it looks brand new...but sill have a little more work to do...so hear are the latest and greates photos from the rear suspension...

Slowly but surely we are getting there...still have a target date for 29 July. Notice we are putting the factory paint markings on as we go along....just trying to do it right....

Hi! Collin

WOW! Every thing is coming together and looking great. Is your rear leaf spring an original or aftermarket? I am in need of one for my 63 project?

They are 63 but I got them from Eaton, in Detroit. They are exactly like the originals. Then I got the kit to make paint them and put the plastic spacers on them. Had to take them apart to paint, and then reassemble. It took about a day to do right, but it came out exact to the OEM. Still just taking my time....

Thanks Collin,

I called Eaton about a month ago and they stated that they no longer offered the 63 spring. Is there a particular person that you were dealing with?

Ray,

Just called the main number and they gave me to sales, who then took my order. Sorry don't have any more information. They gave me no indication they would going to discontinue the 63 springs.

Wow! This has been quite a work fest this past weekend. I just saw Larrys' post as well. You guys never stop! Looks like End of July is totally within your grasp Collin. So nice to see the progress, great pics, great to see the attention to detail and such meticulous work. Thanks for posting your progress again, it really is a pleasure to see these progress like this and watch you guys overcome the challenges as they arise. :upthumbs
