63 windshield moulding

Hey guys, getting ready to put the windshield back in. On the top moulding piece there are some clips with mini type bolts that come down and are suppossed to go through the top of the windshield frame with nuts holding it down, what type nuts are these? and do you put washers to hold it, looks like this will be a son of a gun. Anyone done this before? when I removed the moulding piece there were no nuts just some type of glue holding it down, not working to well, and want to do it correctly. Thanks for any input.
