I just bought a 64 with a 350 and the only way the hood will close is with no air cleaner .. . anyone familiar with a manifold that will give me enough clearance . . otherwise I'll have to go with a 65 big block hood and no . . I dont really want to do that! Help as I"m trying to get ready for paint soon . . also anyone have experience with sodium bicarb sandblasting? Thanks!

Be aware that the picture of my 350 (in the thread referenced above) with the 3 inch air cleaner on it doesn't show the BB hood. DZVETTE still has the best notstock SB hood set up that I have seen posted. His pics are also in the thread referenced above.
If you want performance, you might try a duct to a remote filter - to get cold air for the carb.
