:) Can anyone tell me where the seat belts bolt down in a 64 convertible? I have looked under the car and can locate where the buckle/release side bolts up.but, the door side belt, which i gotta believe got caught a time or two in the door are totally gone. Did they bolt at the base of the covers which cover the convertible frame work ? and if so, how could you possibly get a nut on the back side. Thanks, she is coming along w/ the help of some ??? & answers recieved from good people

See your assembly manual, section 1 Assembly, sheet C17.00; there's a stamped steel reinforcement riveted to the bottom of the underbody that has a nut welded to it. The bolt goes through the end of the belt, through a hole in the carpet, through a hole in the underbody, into the nut on the reinforcement. You can see the reinforcement at the extreme left side of the photo below - there's another one on the right side, same location. :)

I now see my problem, The side by the tranny tunnel is there, the angles by the doors is gone... this pc is only rivetted to the fiberglass as best as i can tell, thanks so much, this is the trouble when you have to many cars and not enough space, hummmmmm buy another garage then more cars.
