I just had a shop in Butler Wisconsin put a top on my 65. These guys did a fantastic job. I stopped by while they were doing the top this is a job for a professional. The name of the company is Edlo they have been around forever. they also did my Silver leather interior WOW!!
i would save the cash and have a pro do it. A vette with a funky top i don't think so.
I'm gonna respectfully disagree. If you're somewhat mechanically inclined (or upholstery inclined as may be the case in this instance), you can do a credible job of top installation
providing you take your time, understand the process, adjust the frame to the car before starting on the fabric, etc. You may not be a quick as a shop who does them on a repetitive basis, but you can save a
lot of bucks.
I've done a couple myself and am quite satisfied with the results. I think magicv8 would say the same.
Wish I could help you with the video, but I don't have one. I did have some written directions/instructions to guide me from an article someone had written in the past, but don't know where it has gotten off to.
I'm sure someone will come up with something for you to go on, best of luck and I know you'll have a lot of self satisfaction knowing you did it yourself!!!
(By the way, mine is a 1966 Mosport Green convertible as well!!)
