67 Bb Project Aftermarket Air

I AM ABOUT 70 % COMPLETE ON MY GROUND UP RESTRO
I AM THINKING OF INSTALLING AFTERMARKET AIR AND WONDER WHAT THOUGHTS MIGHT BE AND THE BEST UNIT FOR THE MONEY.

THANKS
HERM

Herm:

I have heard lots of good things about Vintage Air kits. There are others, including Old Air.
I will eventually install A/C in my 65 Vert, and will probably go with the Vintage Air product. I am not seriously digging yet, but on the surface, the V.A. unit seems to be the best. It doesn't require any cutting up of your original car. The only downside is that you must sacrifice your glovebox to new ductwork.
In any event, be prepared for a big project. The hardest part, will be changing out the original heater box.

I have Old Air.....works fine......the only downside is that there is a pretty big box under the glove compartment.....loooks bad.
the upside is that I have a glove compartment!
If you dont have air in a mid year....you NEED air in a mid year.
