67 Engine mount question..

Has anyone ever seen an engine mount cut out like this,and maybe why they did it.Just curious if this may cause a problem becuase im considering 502 upgrade. Jim

Thanks for the enhancement.It seems like the more I get into this car(inside and out)the more questions I have.Even my socalled orriginal interior carpeting bleads when I wipe it wet cloth or even my finger.I'm sure its only the beginning.Thanks again.I just figured how to resize my images..Jim

I can't imagine why but I don't think this is good as you want as much support as possible especially with high HP engines. I use the polyurethane ones on my car. Good luck.
