As I understand it, the '67 Corvettes all had a Tung Sol #323 flasher, which is held by a clip, under the dash, to the left of the radio. It is yellow plastic.

I have a Tung Sol flasher #323, which is yellow metal. I've been told at two other forums that this one is not the correct flasher, that it should be plastic.

My question is does anyone know what GM vehicles from the 60's would have had this metal flasher shown below? Thanks, PT :)

The 67 flasher was yellow plastic. The ones that I have look nothing like the one in your picture. The lettering is embossed on the top of the flasher and there is small "topnot" in the middle of the top. Interesting animal you have there.

Patrick,

I replaced one during my rebuild that was still working when I parked the car. However, it is light blue plastic, and I probably replaced the original way back in the '60s or '70s.

It is marked Tung-Sol 224 (2 lamp 12 volt) USA Pat. Re 24023 Made in Canada Can. Pat. No. 689273. It has the topnot that Paul mentioned.

It's yours if you want it.

Thanks for the information guys! I guess it's a replacement #323. '67, thanks for the offer of your blue flasher, but this one is good enough for me. It's the right brand, the right color and the right #. If they don't like it, screw em! :D PT

I have some, (yellow plastic) had a bag of them I collected over the years from cars in junkyards. Can test them and if I have some good ones...$5???
