Will a 69 front clip fit a 68 body? Do you need to make any modifications? If so what?

Yes

...Do you need to make any modifications? If so what?...

Are you swapping the entire clip? Only parts of it? '68s have external voltage regulators mounted on the left fender skirt; '69s do not. Hood support is one year only for the '68s. If you use a 69 hood, left inner skirt, and hood support, you'll be okay. 69 radiator support is a little different from '68, but is do-able.

You'll have fender script holes on the '69 fenders.

Purchase the 68 and 69 AIMs and compare the two installations.

Original fiberglass is press molded compound for both years.

69 clip 68 frame

I would be swapping the fenders and the front nose. I was planning on using my aftermarket 68 hood that came off the 68. The 68 frame is a little different and I think I can handle that part of it becasue ulimately they end up at the corner braket for the bumper. My concern is the radiator core support. I beleive the front end bolts to the core support. I was wondering if the attachment point is in the same location for both?

Yes

68-69 frames are not all that different and the changes are the gussents in the rear.

Probably. If there is a difference, the answer is to use the '69 inner fender skirts with the '69 radiator support or vice versa (the 68 skirts with the 68 core support).

My '68 had a complete 69 doghouse on it when I purchased the car.
