I am a new member and considering the purchase of a 69 Roadster. My question relates to whether or not they typically come with a soft top in addition to the hard one. All of the info I have seen refers to either soft only or both. This car only has a removable hard top. There is no documentation for this vehicle, so I'm not sure if it is correct or not. Any clarification and enlightenment would be much appreciated. TIA, Sharkman

I don't think I have ever heard of one without a soft top. The hard top was always an option but not the soft one.

Not so. You could get a soft top, a hardtop, or both tops. My 69 roadster, documented with the original tank sticker was a hardtop ONLY car as delivered from the factory. The soft top was added by a subsequent owner. There are/were many "hardtop only" cars built going all the way back to 1956. Chuck

There is a 69 hardtop convertable which when you remove the top there is no rag top underneath. I was told they can be installed after the fact.
