ad Why in the hell would someone cut a hole in the floor in order to change the u-joints?

There was a hole cut in the floor of the car to get access to the rear end (probably for U-joint change).

I missed this thread. Sorry guys.

Hmmm, I think I could save her. Actually, there is more potential with this car on E-bay than what I started out with.

Let's see, I had to get a:
Hood
door handles/latches
hood latches
interior
engine
wheels
all the chrome
some replacment panels
core support
gauges
trim
weatherstrips
fix holes in my floor
weld/cut repair, replace rusted spots
etc. etc.


Not a lot of difference. I would not hesitate to bring that old carcus home if I was ready for another one!
