Hi all Lt-1 fans. I'm a new member and I own a 71 LT-1 4 spd convertible, red/ black, white ragtop. The car is stunning and has 48,000 original miles on it. I'm thinking of selling it ,so if you guys know of anyone who is interested, please let me know. It is an awesome car, but I own 6 other vettes and it's time to lighten the load a bit.It is a real car, I personally checked all the numbers with the help of another NCRS member.Drop me a line if you know of any interested parties. Asking price will be in the high 30's. Thanks...redvette.

redvette,

Welcome to the Corvette Action Center! With six Corvettes of your own, I'm sure you can add a lot of info here!!

Elaine

Thanks Elaine, your GS looks beautiful! Gotta love a girl who's into the vettes!!I'm glad I found this site. It looks like a good place to meet and chat with other vette enthusiasts. Thanks for your greeting... Joe

Welcome!

Welcome aboard fellow LT-1 owner (for the time being.)

Best of luck finding a buyer for your car!

So what are you going to replace it with? What other Corvettes are in your stable?

Hi Eric, Your yellow coupe looks awesome! The 71 is the "newest of the bunch". I also have a 66bb convertible, 2 62's, a 58, and a 65 convertible. I've been a vette freak since I'm a kid and love em all!!If I had the room and the money I'd keep one of each if I could!I love the LT-1, but I have my eye on a 63 split window coupe. If I sell the LT-1, I will probably buy the 63. Good luck with your 72, it looks tough!

Thanks Lucky, your car looks great. I love those rims! Keep it looking sharp!

welcome Redvette :)
'71 LT1 what an awesome car. Maybe someday I'll have one.
Gary

Thanks gary, I have to get some good shots on my camera and I will post one as soon as I do. Thanks for the welcome and the 73 looks sharp!

redvette, where in NJ are you from? I've got a 1971 LT-1 ragtop as well.

Dave S.

redvette, did you have your LT-1 at the A.C. convention center auction in the car corral? If that was you, that really is a strong looking car you got.I was down there and checked it out a few times a real beauty.....JERRY

Hi Dave, I'm in the middletown area. My fatherinlaw lives in Beachwood, He sold his jewel blue 61 at the AC auction. I love the yellow LT-1. It looks beautiful! I'm sure I;ll see you at the shows this summer, if the weather ever breaks!!!

Hi Jerry, I don't know my way around this site yet, so I may have answered these threads out of order. Anyway, yes, that was me at the AC auction last week. Thank you for your compliments on the car, and I'm glad you got to see it in person. Many people commented on the car there and positive comments are greatly appreciated no matter what type of car you own. Of course, there were some jealous morons that had some negative things to say, but I guess that goes with the territory. I'm glad you liked the car and took the time to tell me about it here on this site. Thanks again... Joe
