71 wiper door

My 71 headlights and wiper door work perfectly. However when the my vette sits for a while (engine off) the wiper door lifts about 1/2 an inch. soon as I start the engine she snaps closed. Any Ideas?? Thanks Jay Jay

You have vacuum bleed off somewhere!! A one way valve or a cracked vacuum line or fitting!! Could even a diaphragm in actuator with a small hole in it!!
