Does anyone have any pictures or know where I can see the breakdown of all the parts to route the plug wires as they were originally? After a total rebuild my mechanic swears there were no wire separators but I know there has to be a method. Of course, he put engine back in without resolving the issue. Eckler shows 3 parts that might work but doesn't show where they go:
Corvette Corvette Spark Plug Wire Clip, 1956-1982 - Corvette Parts and Accessories

I have all the NCRS manuals but can't find an explanation or pics.

I know how the distributor shield and brackets fit but getting the wires up there as it was originally is the issue. I also bought new plug shields which were put on.

Thanks...don

Try Dr Rebuild. They have a poster with wire harness connectors and the accessory they plug into. They call they oosoez wiring diagrams. Heres a link.

DocRebuild's 1972 OOSOEZ Wiring Guides

Is that what you were looking for?

1. Wiring diagrams are not what I'm looking for. I need to know how the spark plug wires are routed along the sides of the engine using the parts from Eckler in my first remarks.

2. Sorry, don't know what AIM is. Maybe I should know such abbreviations but I don't. I'm new at this. If it's some manual I really don't what to buy more. I bought NCRS 70-72 Tech Info and judging guide, the NCRS 68-72 operations test guide, the large 1972 Chev service manual (not good help since it is for all Chev cars that year), and Chilton's 63-76 repair guide book - non of these showed what I need.

If someone has it can they send me the pictures I need..or the link where I can find it...or something.

Thanks - don
