72 Speedo Cable PN

Does anyone have the recommended GM replacement pn for a 1972 4 speed speedo cable? I got the opportunity to replace mine last week but don't know what the length or current GM pn.

The original cable is not listed in my 1983 Corvette parts catalogue leading me to believe GM had probably discontinued them by that time. ZIP has them (upper and lower) http://www.zip-products.com/Zip/pro...alse&mscssid=F7467661B9504996A397B29CDE3F2729

If you need the original part number, my advice would be to check the AIM. It will list the original part numbers for both cables.

I don't think GM carries a correct cable any more. The two piece cables are not correct for a non-cruise control car, you want a one piece.
