I have attached the second compression test results which roughly double the numbers from the first test I had done on the 74 L82 I'm considering buying (thats what I get for having a friend do the first one). Any helpful advice on the results are appreciated...thanks

Is my computer going wacky or do I not see anything in the attachment?

According to the manual, compression should be about 150 psi with a maximum variance between cylinders of 20 psi. On a healthy engine compression should build up quickly (about four strokes.

Looking good. The books says unusualy high numbers can be caused by carbon deposits on the combustion chambers.

thanks for the feedback everyone...seller has agreed on a price and i should be cruisin' and wavin' very soon after a 3 year vetteless drought..
