I was looking in the Mid-America magazine today, and noticed that they were selling the whole front end (body), and they catagorized the one piece of years '75 - '79.

Are these years' body styles the same?

One time, this '75 had pulled next to my '78, and I was just looking over them next to each other. And this was a little while ago, so this is from memory. But the front bodies seemed to be slightly different. Maybe it was just the stance of them being different, I don't know.

Anybody?

Yep they are the same except a 78 pace car have front spoilers .Hey check with vanacors before you buy from MA.MA is always the highest.

How do you take the front end off? I saw a thing with taking the front end of a Nova, and was wondering if it's the same concept.

Is it pretty much just bolted on to the frame? A couple of bolts, and you can take it off?

The fenders are the same, but the hood is different.

Removing a steel body car front end is just a matter of removing a few blots. The fenders and front assembly bolt to the firewall/cowl area. In a Vette the front end is basicly glued to the firewall/cowl area. Has to be chisled loose.

That's no good. So if you take off the front end, it's no good anymore?

It can be chisled and pried off safely. Just takes time and skill. Then it can be reinstalled and rebonded to the body. Just be very careful and get it aligned correctly.

There are a few different products.3M makes some and Duramix.I know this sounds bubbaish but the best thing Ive found is liquid nail for fiberglass bath tubs.It has a longer working time and bods very well.
