I've purchased a repro front urethane bumper from a local vendor. (I understand the repros are all made by the same company) I just don't have the money for an OEM bumper. I took it out of the box and noticed that there is a lip that goes around the edge that mounts to the body (I'm not talking about the lip where the bolts go but it is above that.) I don't know if this is left over from the mold or what. Has anyone used a repro urethane front bumper. I can't imagine you could just bolt this up because then you would have a lip sticking up. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated?
