The ventalation system... Does it only get air from up by the windshield and forced through our vents, or at the bottom of the ventallation system, passenger side kick panel, does it go straight through under the hood, I mean by the tire, the side air vents, or are they for show? Confused? Me too... If you look down the passenger side, by the window, down past the blower motor, you will see the flap for the kickpanel vent. Air coming from the windshield, is that the only air to go in there, or is there an entrance from under the car near the frame? I had a mouse bring over 5lbs worth of dog food and hide it under my floormat on the passenger side. I can't see him climbing over the car and down the windshield vents to get in and out. I figure there has to be a bottom ventallation entrance... Am I right, and wouldn't a lot of hot air get sucked in it?

Nope, only the cowl inlet. Sounds as if you may have some gaps/leaks that they can get through. Once you find and seal those, the interior will be much cooler.

tom...

In the wiper area, look to either side. There should be a screen of some sort, covering a hole. That hole allows pressurized air from the cowl area to flow down to the vents next to the feet. If you look up under the dash, you should be able to see the vent.
