'77 air conditioner

i have 77 that originally had a/c, however the compressor, drier, hoses and other parts are missing. my question is what type of a/c system did this car have? when i look in parts books they list two systems VIR or CCOT. i would also like to find diagram of the system i have so i can see what parts need replaced. this vette has a L82 engine, 4 spd.

Are you trying to keep the look original or do you want a modern a/c system? I can't find the site right now but I saw it here on CAC that will convert the system to a modern style a/c compressor and all the extras for between $1000 and $1200. It does not have the long type compressor but has all the conversion brackets. Maybe somebody here will be familiar with the site.

I was looking through my new Corvette Central catalog this morning and found the a/c system I was talking about. They have two types but they are showing one as discontinued, that one is part #68-77E or 77L-82. The other one that they offer is part #453159.
