77 T top Headliner Issue

Just received a new right side t-top headliner for my 77 from Corvette Central. Everytime I hit a bump it falls out. I don't want to glue it in. Almost debating on adding washers on the t top side with the philips head screws holding the velcro style pieces in. If not buying new clips. Anyone with similar issue?

I hate those little nylon velco type clips GM used on the t-tops & hard top liners. I use the 3M automotive type double side trim mounting tape to help out the stock fasteners. The 3M trim mount tape can be found at any well stocked automotive paint store. If you do decide to glue it, I would use a RTV type sealer that would allow you to take it apart later if need be.
