Question: 79 Rear Window hatch conversion

I have a 1979 T top. I have a Harnesses Bar. This makes it very difficult to access area behind seats. I did not know there was a Rear Window Hatch conversion for my 79. Has anyone added one? Any one have info on what works, and where to get one?

Most of the hatchback conversions used the 82 CE hatch and hardware. I'm not certain anyone still manufactures a kit. Push come to shove, you could collect the CE goodies and install the hatch. The 82 assembly instruction manual (AIM) will list the parts, original part numbers, and show the installation.
