79 shark w/o rear spoiler / wing

Hey partners! need some help w/ my 79 shark... please look @ photo attached showing 4 holes on the back end of the car that I believe was for a spoiler @ one time. I have been to a few swap meets and cannot find anything to align w/ the holes. Does anybody out there have a clue to what those are for? I am almost sure they are not for a luggage rack. Thanks in advance for your help!

They don't look like they are for a spoiler...too close to the window. I remember seeing a rack that held the T-Tops, that were angled like that.

Funny you should mention the T-Top rack for the 78 - 82 C3's. We were just discussing that in another thread.

Yup.those are mounting holes for a factory t-top carrier.

I remember seeing one of those installed last weekend at the Cruise-in in Manases. Send a PM to Eric (71shark), maybe he's got some pictures.

From what I recall it was a black plastic rack that the T-Tops strapped to. The one I saw had tops on it so I can't really describe it any better.
