Help! 81 corvette frame

got my body off today and notice that the drive shaft is not straight from rear end to transmission is this normal?otherwise it looks like the frame might need some fix'n

The engine is offset about 1" or so to the passenger side to give more clearance for the drivers feet and other reasons.

That's right- they are offset!

I have always been impressed with the RH drive conversions. Those Aussies really must love their Vettes!

FWIW- I think the 94-2004 Mustangs have as much offset or more. It is really noticeable when the hood is up.
