Question: 81 Corvette shakes at 65 MPH and above

Hi,

My 81 seems to shake (not violently, but very noticeably) when I exceed 60-65 MPH. The tires also squeal thru the slightest turn. The alignment seems fine to me. Is this a tie rod issue?

Where should I start looking for causes? Thanks in advance.

Have you had the tires balanced? Also how old are the tires? How is the wear pattern? Any uneven wear or cupping?
