81 dash harness

Does anyone here know why the dash harness for the 81 is so much harder to find than other c3 dash harnesses? Of course, hard to find means big money for a fistful of wires and some GM connectors. I just don't see anything special about it that justifies the price. :confused

Good question, in some way it interacts with your ECM wiring harness but that is just a few connectors. I was amazed how big the interior wiring harness was but compared to 79 or 80 I don't think it will be a big difference in the number of wires.
