I've received alot of e-mails concerning my last post, so I thought I would make a list of what I have on hand; complete twin snorkel air cleaner system, complete distributor, original carb., original intake, original exhaust manifolds, original AM/FM cassette with book, computer(ECM), "Hypertech" chip, original chip, set of original pulleys, original trip computer with book(this was a dealer installed option for 81 & goes in place of the ashtray), thermostat housing, gas cap, also have some other "odds & ends" but these are the main things. All parts are original GM (unless otherwise noted) and are in good condition & working order. e-mail @ mitchandtanya@bellsouth.net if interested or need info. or pics.

It was a dealer installed option that mounted where the ashtray normally goes. It would keep up with trip mileage, gas mileage,check speedometer calibration, allow you to pre-set and control the cruise control, also had an alarm feature,clock and would monitor the voltage status and reserve amp. status of the battery. They were an expensive option in 81(since computer technology was new and pricey).Because of that they are pretty rare. I took it by my local Chevy dealer and only one (older gentleman) in the parts dept. had ever seen one. Have pic if anyone is interested. E-mail at mitchandtanya@bellsouth.net
