'81 Power Mirror

What is involved in removing a power mirror from a '81 ?? I need to tighten the
mirror head to the pedestal. It's a little loose. I'm assuming I have to remove the
mirror to do this.

Mel,

To get the mirror off you will have to take off the door panel, first take off all the other parts like the arm rest, etc... then you can get to the mirror mount from inside the door, a real pain. Not sure what else you have to do if you have electric mirrors but I can get you that far.
