Anyone ever had issue with the 'card check valve' failing? Car would run, then just shut off. It may start, or it may not. If it did start, might run for awhile and then shut off. replaced fuel pump, same thing. Finally, mechanic said that I have failing 'card check valve'. Removed it, car has been running fine for a week. I guess it does not need the carb check valve to run? Anybody have this situation? Please leave comment, will be greatly appreciated.
